One of the laptops in the lab - a Intel macbook pro - runs Ventura 13.7.8 and is still snappy for daily work. It suddenly started crashing on Google meet and even Whatsapp video calls. I first tought it was the graphics card, then the full disk. What worked was a NVRAM/PRAM reset.
